September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation is working overtime this month to spread the news about Prostate Cancer to as many people in our state as we can reach.

We kicked off September 1 with a very full day of screenings with the City of Little Rock’s employees; a press conference at the Arkansas State Capitol building during which a proclamation declaring it to be Prostate Cancer Awareness Month from Gov. Asa Hutchinson was presented to APCF; and Executive Director Chris Collier made the local press circuit discussing why screening is so important in the fight against Prostate Cancer.

You can check out a few of the clips from yesterday at the links below. But keep in mind – we can’t do what we do without you. Educate yourself about Prostate Cancer so you can have the conversations with the men in your life about it. And always remember, APCF is here for whatever resources you need.
