Beards and Blue Ribbons

In August 2022, the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation reinvented their annual gala, The Blue Ribbon Bash. Renamed “Bourbon, Beards, and Blue Ribbons,” the evening evolved into an experiential event for the sophisticated adventurer.

Held in the ballroom and outdoor areas of Chenal Country Club, the gala featured multiple opportunities for guests to explore the finer things in life via “Odyssey” experiences.

Our odysseys included:

• Fly casting lessons and axe throwing
• Custom tailored clothing from Q Clothier
• A men’s and women’s watch bar sponsored by Sissy’s Log Cabin
• Haircuts and trims for men and women by Morrison’s Capitol Barber Shop

Some of the nation’s most exclusive bourbons were served throughout the evening at the centrally located bar, delighting even the most sophisticated bourbon aficionados. 

Such a relaxed environment fostered a successful night of fun and fundraising. During the evening we honored the elite group of professionals in the No Shave Club. Members of the No Shave Club are men who worked diligently to raise awareness and funds for the APCF during the previous No Shave November campaign.  

There were over 75 items on display to bid on during the gala’s silent auction, with virtual bidding available for those not in attendance. Items included autographed sports memorabilia, weekend getaways and extended fabulous trips, original artwork, jewelry, as well as unique gift baskets and products from local businesses, and so much more!
